Balay Tuko is a boutique hotel built in a residential area and accredited by the Department of Tourism. We have the largest indoor pool in town and a lovely tropical garden with lots of flowers and old trees to attract birds and butterflies. Our location is close to Robinson's Place Shopping Center, Land Transport Office, Immigration Office, Office of Department of Foreign Affairs, Private Motor Vehicle Inspection CHIEF and Bus Station San Jose where you can take all public transportation to all island destinations. Puerto Princesa International Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car.

Meals and drinks are served at our Resto-Bar in front of the main garden. Before going to sleep, it is best to order your breakfast & if you intend to have your dinner here, please let us know and choose your meal before you go.

If you order drinks and fast food from outside, we charge a corkage fee of 50php per room per day for proper waste disposal.

You can contact us by email if you want us to organize day trips. It is highly recommended to book the tours with us as sometimes the pickup time is around 5:30am so we have to wake you up on time and prepare your breakfast. As one of the few hotels located just outside of town close to the North highway, our position is ideal as you are the last passengers to be picked up by the tour operator and the first to be dropped.

Good day, yes you can smoke outside on the terrace. So far the City Tourism office request the tourists to submit a Travel Voucher TV. So if you are planning to do some day tours, it is easier to get your TV by a Tour Operator.

Wonderful
Balay Tuko is a wonderful place to stay at. We enjoyed our time here and will book again, once we’re back in Puerto Princessa. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is spacious with a nice garden and open restaurant. Our room was quite big and very clean. The owner and staff provided tips and recommendations for activities. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and provided a very good service overall. The hotels location comes in handy for booked tours, you’re most likely the last pick-up destination for the van and the first to drop-off after the tours.

Very nice complex
Very nice complex, colonial style. Great room, good bathroom. We arrived newyears eve, and forgot to arrange anything for dinner. Officially, the restaurant on premise was closed. We weren't comfortable going out by ourselves, as it was dark already, and there was nothing within walking distance. The owners were having a Philipilian buffet for them and the staff, and we were invited to join in. That was the nicest thing, and we felt very privileged. And ... the food was awesome!
